Crock Cooker Recipes-chicken

CREAMY BROCCOLI AND CHICKEN
1 bag frozen chicken tenders
1 bag frozen broccoli
1 can cream of broccoli soup
1 onion chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup milk


Combine ingredients in crock cooker leaving the milk to be added the last 45 minutes of cooking.  Cook on low for 6-8 hours.  Serve over rice.


CREAMY CHICKEN CASSEROLE
1 bag frozen chicken tenders
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 small onion chopped
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 1/2 cups quick cook rice
salt and pepper to taste


Combine all ingredients in crock cooker.  Cook on low for 6-8 hours.  


SHREDDED CHICKEN FAJITA NACHOS
1 bag frozen chicken tenders
1 bell pepper sliced
1 onion sliced
1 envelope taco seasoning mix
2 cups water
tortilla chips
lettuce
sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Dissolve taco seasoning mix in water and pour in crock cooker.  Add chicken, pepper and onion.  Cook on low for 6-8 hours.  Shred chicken with fork.  Place tortilla chips on baking sheet and spoon chicken, pepper and onion mixture over the top.  Top with cheese and bake in the oven at 350 degrees until the cheese is melted.  Top with lettuce and sour cream.  


This mixture can be used as well for CHICKEN SOFT TACOS.


CHICKEN SOFT TACOS

1 bag frozen chicken tenders
1 bell pepper sliced
1 onion sliced
1 envelope taco seasoning mix
2 cups water
lettuce
sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
tortillas

Dissolve taco seasoning mix in water and pour in crock cooker.  Add chicken, pepper and onion.  Cook on low for 6-8 hours.  Shred chicken with fork.  Serve with tortillas, sour cream and lettuce.

This mixture can be used as well for SHREDDED CHICKEN FAJITA NACHOS.

CHICKEN TETRAZZINI
1 bag frozen chicken tenders
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 small onion chopped
1 c celery chopped
1 c sour cream
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 box spaghetti noodles broken into pieces

Place chicken in crock cooker.  Combine soup, onion, celery and salt and pepper.  Pour over chicken.  Cook on low for 4 hours.  Add spaghetti pieces, making sure the pasta is covered by the mixture. Cook for another 1 to 2 hours.  

CHICKEN SPAGHETTI
1 bag frozen chicken tenders
2 can cream of chicken soup
1 c sour cream
1 bag shredded cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 box spaghetti noodles broken into pieces

Place chicken in crock cooker.  Combine soup, cheese, salt, and pepper.  Pour over chicken.  Cook on low for 4 hours.  Add spaghetti pieces, making sure the pasta is covered by the mixture.  Cook for another 1 to 2 hours adding the sour cream the last 45 minutes.  

CREAMY ITALIAN CHICKEN
1 bag frozen chicken tenders
1 envelope Italian dressing mix
1 can cream of chicken soup
8 oz softened cream cheese
1/3 cup water
rice

Place chicken in crock cooker.  Dissolve dressing mix in water and pour over chicken.  Cook on low for 3 hours.  Combine cream cheese and soup.  Add to chicken and cook for 3 additional hours.  Serve over hot rice.    

RANCH CHICKEN
1 bag frozen chicken tenders
1 envelope ranch dressing mix
1 can chicken broth (2 cups water if you don't have broth)


Dissolve ranch mix in broth or water.  Place chicken in crock cooker. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.  Shred or serve in large pieces.  Serve over rice.


RANCH CHICKEN WRAPS
leftover Ranch Chicken mixture
wraps (flavor of choice)
lettuce
shredded cheese
thinly sliced cucumber


Layer all ingredients on wraps and serve.  Great to pack for a picnic.


CHICKEN SOUP
1 bag frozen chicken tenders
1 mini bag of prepared baby carrots
2 stalks of celery chopped
4 cups of water (or 2 cans of chicken broth for richer flavor)
1 Tbsp poultry seasoning
1 bag frozen peas


Dissolve poultry seasoning in water or broth.  Place chicken in crock cooker.  Add remaining ingredients.  cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Shred chicken with fork before serving.
